London - Cult label Mansur Gavriel is set to expand into menswear and accessories, as its founders Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel seek to develop a full lifestyle brand.The first collection to launch for men's will be a range of accessories, launching for pre-autumn 2018, according to a report from Business of Fashion. Set to feature 11 different styles, including backpacks, briefcases and totes, Mansur Gavriel debut men's line is said to offer a more manly-twist on some of the brand's most iconic designs.Mansur Gavriel to launch first-ever men's line for pre-fall 2018"We've always envisioned a complete world, so men's is something we always imagined and are only able to fully implement now," explained Mansur to Bof. "It was always at the back of our heads that we wanted to do it," added Gavriel. The new men's line launch comes six years after the duo first launched their simple, yet clean handbag range, which went on to be a huge hit.The first men's accessories collection will launch at Mansur Gavriel stores in New York and Los Angeles as well as online, with prices ranging from 195 US dollars to 1,395 US dollars. In addition, the collection will also be exclusively available via Mr Porter, the brother site to Net-a-Porter. A second capsule collection, featuring men's ready-to-wear and accessories is set to launch in September.Mansur Gavriel new men's line will be designed and manufactured by the label's in-house team, which currently oversees the brand's women's ready-to-wear and accessories lines. "Our team - now at 73 employees - has been growing over the past year. Although production is still small, it's grown and is still manageable," noted Gavriel.The cult label's product expansion push comes as its founders focus on strengthening its retail footprint.
