Marriott Silicon Valley: Ashford Hospitality Trust acquires Fremont Marriott for $50 million

Dallas-based investment group Ashford Hospitality Trust Inc. agreed to acquire the Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley hotel for $50 million. The acquisition deal for the 357-room hotel is expected to close within the next 30 days. Upon closing, the property will be managed by Remington Lodging.
