MaxCDN: StackPath Raises $150M, Acquires Three Companies

Dallas-based StackPath, a developer of a security-as-a-service offering led by former SoftLayer CEO Lance Crosby, has raised $150M and acquired three companies. The Series A funding came from ABRY Partners. The company said it acquired content delivery network provider MaxCDN, cloud-based WAF developer Fireblade, and VPN technology provider Cloak. Crosby was the founder of SoftLayer, which he sold to IBM in 2013.
