Maxol has announced plans to introduce renewable hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) at a number of its 244 forecourts nationwide. HVO is produced from renewable feedstocks, including non-food grade vegetable oils, used cooking oils, and residue fat fractions and reduces carbon emissions by up to 90% compared to regular diesel.
