A Kansas City-area auto group has finalized the acquisition of two dealerships in Lawrence, bringing its total number of dealerships to 11. McCarthy Auto Group announced its plans in March to buy the Lawrence Nissan and Subaru dealerships from Briggs Auto Group, but the deal took longer than expected to close, the Lawrence Journal-World reports.
