As much as I loved McDonald's Might Wings when they were available, I also loved another product that was discontinued. But lucky for me and other Michigan chicken lovers another favorite is returning to the menu . Covid-19's Impact on McDonald's While this product was initially debuted as a limited-time offering, it was pulled from the menu during the height of the pandemic back in 2020. This was part of the effort to simplify operations at restaurants across the country. After a recent flood of customers asking for the return of McDonald's Snack Wrap, which is expected to return to the menu later this year, another favorite is set to launch at the beginning of May. The Return of McCrispy Strips McDonald's announced today that their popular chicken strips, known as McCrispy Strips, will return to their menu throughout Michigan on May 5th. This is in response to McDonald's recent financial struggles, along with the huge success of businesses like Wing Stop and Taco Bell who recently began offering chicken nuggets on their menu. Even though eggs prices have been extreme lately, chicken has become a huge favorite among Americans in the last few year. McDonald's introduced their crispy chicken sandwiches to compete with Popeye's after they released their own version which blew up back in 2021. Some Michigan Locations Offer McCrispy Strips Now According to a current employee (my son), the new chicken tenders are available now at McDonald's location on Thompson Road at US-23 along with stores within the franchise. This includes the McDonald's on Grand Blanc Road at US-23, Hill Road at US-23. Other locations have jumped on the McCrispy Strips bandwagon early across the state. According to employee Ben Fenech from Mundy Township, "They are probably the best thing on the menu right now!"
