McDonald's: McDonald's is bringing back the snack wrap: The restaurant chain teases fans with return date

McDonald's is reviving an old favorite . Last week, the fast food chain announced that its famous Snack Wrap , a filled tortilla snack which became a cult classic with customers, would be returning to menus later this year. The company delivered the news in a simple cryptic post on X , which read:" snack wraps 0x.14.2025 ". McDonald's didn't specify when Snack Wraps would be back on the menu but from their message it will be this year, on the 14th day on an unknown month. The Snack Wrap was launched in the US in 2006 before being discontinued in 2016 due to falling sales. Some stores continued to sell them but it was taken off the menu for good in 2020 when menus were simplified. What ingredients are in a McDonald's Snack Wrap? Originally consisting of just crispy chicken and ranch sauce in a tortilla wrap, the Snack Wrap evolved into something much tastier and was an instant hit with drive-through customers. The classic version featured crispy or grilled chicken breast , lettuce , shaving of Monterey Jack cheddar cheese , bathed in a rich salad dressing sauce - either ranch sauce , honey mustard or salsa roja ), wrapped in a soft flour tortilla . Back in December, McDonald's USA President Joe Erlinger let the cat out of the bag in an appearance on Good Morning America . " The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025 ," Erlinger told George Stephanopulos. " This has a cult following . I get so many emails into my inbox about this product. It will be back in 2025 - I'm not going to tell you exactly when in 2025 for competitive reasons."
