"Avoid QVB Macca's - Raw Chicken," the post said. "Mate got a burger at QVB Macca's and the chicken was raw. This is absolutely unacceptable and the fella managing the place only got a warning for this abhorrent breach of food safety standards!" "Ewww" The accompanying photo is gag-worthy to say the least, sending shivers down the spines of viewers. Commenters on the post were equally as disgusted by the burgers, with some joking that they were shocked it was real chicken. "Publicity stunt to make everyone think they're serving actual chicken," one commenter said. "McSalmonella Deluxe," said another. "Avoid QVB Maccas," a third person added. "Gross." another said. "Oh man! Eww," another agreed. How can this happen? Some were even questioning how it would happen in the first place, given assumptions made about the quality of the meat and fast cook times. "Fairly shocked this can actually happen, assumed was well cooked before in the fryer/grill," said one commenter. "Must admit I thought Maccas 'idiot-proofed' their procedures to stop this exact problem," another person said. Kidspot has reached out to McDonald's for comment.
