Meals on Wheels of Syracuse is saddened by the recent racial violence against people of color across our nation. Meals on Wheels takes great pride in feeding our neighbors in the City of Syracuse; many of whom are African-American. We are committed to helping everyone within the scope of our mission to the best of our ability regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion etc. We serve the human race.We condemn racism, violence and oppression against African-Americans in this country. This has gone on far too long. This must change now and we all have a responsibility to make that change. When one of us suffers injustice we all bear the pain. We can be better than this.
