Medcost: Jackie Allen promoted to VP of Care Management at MedCost, LLC

Jackie Allen recently rejoined MedCost as Vice President of Care Management, where she previously served as Director of Care Management. She brings over 15 years of experience in developing and implementing disease management and wellness programs that improve financial and clinical outcomes. Jackie’s background includes extensive experience in the use of advanced analytics to perform risk stratification, predictive modeling and identification of gaps in clinical care within a population. As Vice President, Jackie’s focus will be on producing better health outcomes and lowering costs of employer health plans, while offering an improved experience for health plan members. Prior to rejoining MedCost, Jackie held leadership roles at Accordant Health Services and UnitedHealthGroup. She began her career as a clinical nurse. Jackie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
