Medcost: Marianella Perdomo Teper VP of Operations at MedCost LLC

Marianella Perdomo Teper joined MedCost as Vice President of Operations. In this role, she leads our Claims, Eligibility and Customer Service teams to align operations strategies with our corporate commitment to improve health, lower costs and deliver an exceptional experience. Marianella has 25+ years of experience in healthcare, including executive roles at Partners National Health Plan of NC, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC, and Novant Health. She is also Adjunct Faculty at Forsyth Technical Community College. Marianella holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an MS in Biology from the University of Bridgeport (Connecticut), as well as a Master’s in Public Health, a Master’s in Philosophy and PhD-level training in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Yale University. A native of Venezuela, Marianella spends her free time doing outreach to enroll underserved populations in health insurance.
