Social media agency, Media Bounty, plans to join the Global Climate Strike on 20 September and is urging other agencies to do the same. All of the agency's employees will have the opportunity to take part and they will be inviting clients and partners to join the protest too.The Global Climate Strike is an invitation for climate strikers to take to the streets and demand an end to fossil fuels to ensure climate justice for everyone. Hundreds of strikes will be happening simultaneously across the country ahead of a UN emergency climate summit in New York. Media Bounty is known for being a conscientious agency, that actively works with brands of purpose, such as Meatless Farm, KIND snack bars and Percol. It also has a long-term charity partner in international conservation charity, World Land Trust, and offers a generous volunteering scheme for staff. As a founder of the Conscious Advertising Network, it is working hard to combat brands inadvertently funding digital content on climate change denial. Emma Tozer, co-founder of Media Bounty said: "Climate change is the only issue there is and the window of opportunity to act is closing rapidly. As a social media agency with a conscience, we stand together with those who seek to persuade governments to act, and act fast. Everyone has a role to play to ensure our children have a future."
