Meijer: Michigan Adding A Small, Independence Meijer Market To Very Busy Area

Meijer is one of the most popular grocery stores in Michigan , and without a doubt, the most popular Michigan-based grocery store in the Midwest. With hundreds of locations located throughout multiple states, Meijer is constantly looking to expand and grow as a company. Recently, they announced that there would be a new addition to the Meijer family in a very unique setting, the location, unlike any other. They announced that they will be installing and building a smaller 50,000 square-foot neighborhood Meijer Independence Market, located at 5820 Waldon Road in Clarkston . In a Press Release sent out, they announced that this new location will be in a very interesting place, and talked about some of the features people can expect from their shopping experience here. An interesting thing about this location is that it is going to be adding a large volume of drivers in the area that already gets very congested, especially during the summer and fall. The new location will be located off Sashabaw Road in I-75, which is already very close to the Pine Knob Music Theater in Clarkston, where every year hundreds of thousands of people travel to see concerts. It's unknown as of now how construction may impact traffic in this area, but once it's done, you can imagine it will be even more cluttered.
