A new e-book self-publishing software developed in Miami is giving authors more ownership over their books and where they're published. PubML, short for publishing with HTML, allows users to write, design and sell e-books to Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble or other e-book vendors. With the software, writers can embed their e-book into a webpage, rather than requiring an e-reader to access the text.
