Executives of L-3 Communications based in New York are boosting the company's expertise in electronic warfare (EW), surveillance, and reconnaissance with their upcoming acquisition of EW specialist Micreo Limited in Eight Mile Plains, Australia, near Brisbane. Terms of the upcoming acquisition were not released.Micreo designs and builds radio frequency (RF) microwave integrated circuits (MICs) and subsystems for global military and aerospace applications, and is a leader in EW subsystems that use high-performance microwave, millimeter wave, and photonic technologies.
