An EPIC Time EPIC is a three day conference that's a prime opportunity to strengthen existing vendor connections and forge new ones while learning need-to-know info about what's happening in our industry. "EPIC used to only be office supplies, but now we are starting to see more and more vendors from the JanSan industry." says Kris Colt, President of Mono Machines. "It just proves that industries are blending and things are continuing to consolidate." "There were a lot of people there who, along with being very successful, are very passionate about what they do." Kelly, Mono's Strategic Account Manager, added. "That was a great energy to be around." The three day event included a range of educational opportunities such as bootcamps and seminars. In addition, EPIC hosted over 200 exhibitor booths, making the conference a great opportunity to boost product knowledge. "I liked seeing all of the different sit to stand desks." says Mike, Mono's Strategic Account Manager, "One of my favorite things I learned was that some of the desks that are manufactured in China also come in a TAA (Trade Agreement Act) compliant version that is manufactured in the US and can be sold to all of the different federal agencies. The Ergotron WorkFit-TL is an example of one of those sit to stand desks that comes in a TAA compliant version. I liked the desk so much that I bought one for myself and so far, I'm loving it!" EPIC makes a point of encouraging veterans of the industry to share their expertise and knowledge with others who may be new to EPIC and the industry in general.
