Running low on office essentials like pens, paper or staples can cause a minor catastrophe in the Office Jungle. Running out of toilet paper, seat protectors or paper towels? Now that's a major catastrophe! Luckily, many of our everyday office supplies will ship the very next day if ordered by 2PM. That's good news for situations when you need your office supplies, pronto. This speedy shipping is thanks to our partnership with the folks at Essendant. Essendant ships lightning fast, but that's no surprise. They're one of the largest product wholesalers in the industry, so they know a thing or two about getting products where they need to go with speed and accuracy. Team Mono recently toured Essendant's Sacramento Distribution Center to see Essendant's speedy fulfillment, packing and shipping action firsthand! The first thing that struck us upon entering Essendant's warehouse is just how massive everything is. It's huge! This area here is where their most popular items are boxed and prepared for shipping. This is our tour guide, Kurt, explaining Essendant's remarkably low error rate. Essendant fills millions of orders each week through warehouses across the U.S., yet their rate of error is less than 3%. As our tour continued, it became clear that Essendant's low error rate on orders is the result of excellent organization and careful planning. This place runs like a well-oiled machine! If we had to sum up Essendant's Sacramento Distribution Center in one word, it would be EFFICIENT. It's well-organized and structured for fast, accurate order fulfillment. The chances of an order issue are pretty minuscule thanks to their attention to detail and logical layout of the distribution center itself. We're proud to work closely with the folks at Essendant. Together, we make sure your office essentials arrive ASAP (As Swift As Primates!). Overall, our tour of Essendant's Sacramento Distribution Center was a fantastic experience. It was wonderful to spend some time with Kurt and Bill and learn more about their process. Thanks again, guys! Photo credit: Isaac, CEO of Mono Machines.
