You may need to go around the device several times carefully and evenly applying force for it to separate.Step 2 Once the screen is separated, carefully lift to remove the screen from the back cover and place in a safe area.Step 3 Pull the folded white tab in the top right corner to lift the battery out of the back cover.Step 4Next, use a plastic opening tool to lift up on the battery connector to separate it from the board.
