My Reading Tutor Blog Etiquette Tip for Wednesday

Welcome back to My Reading Tutor! As National Etiquette Week continues, we have had much fun deciding which tips to share each day. Today's tip is in honor of Moms and Grads everywhere.May is a busy time of year, with graduations, Mother's Day and even birthdays. If you have a birthday in May, are graduating or a celebrated Mom, today's tip is of particular interest. It's about writing a thank you note.Thank you notes are something that should be handwritten. A text or email is just not enough. My personal guideline is if someone spent more than 15 minutes doing something for you, they deserve a thank you note. If the thank you is for a gift, be sure to mention the gift specifically in the note. Further, when addressing your thank you note, unless you are sending the note in a #10 business envelope (I hope not), your return address belongs on the back flap of the envelope. Congratulations to all the Moms and graduates!
