Did they really do? Shopping which for most of us the simplest & enjoyable experience but when it comes to a blind Is it still the same? Well! We too wondered about it & then decided to hunt for the answers, what we found was really mind-blowing!Unfortunately for blinds online shopping is still at large, there're still many challenges to make it possible & manageable for them without others help, latest technologies & medical equipments did really made the difference but still has long way to go, but wait! That's not the end of journey when we all know 'when there's will there's way!'While hunting for this quest, we came across wonderfully written article by Arie Anna Farnam who herself a legal blind, Arie shares her experience about how she shops, what challenges she faces & how she comes over it, here's what she shares."Okay, seriously. Usually I go with someone. Or I shop on-line increasingly. I hate clothes shopping. My vision impairment probably has something to do with this but it is also just personal taste. I know blind people who are really into clothes. I'm not. So, I usually go clothes shopping with someone about once a year and get what I need. I also have to shop for my children's clothes. I know of one place with children's clothes where I can shop alone because the shop is very well organized and the sales person is very helpful. But that is relatively rare. Then again, I don't frequent high-end stores. If you have a lot of money, you probably go to stores where the sales reps are more helpful. When I was a child I had a blind adult mentor, which by the way is a fabulous thing for a blind or visually impaired child. He used to tell this true "joke" about one of his friends: His visually impaired friend was strolling down the street window shopping with another blind friend. They were visually impaired enough that they couldn't see all that much, probably about like me. They would peer closely at the windows to figure out what was inside the shops and then go in and browse. They came to a shop with clothes in the window and so they went in and started looking at the things hanging there. A flustered employee of the shop came up to them and asked, "May I help you?" in an anxious tone."Oh, that's okay. We're just looking," the friend said. The employee said, "But ma'am this is a dry cleaners." We all thought this was hilarious, for some odd reason. Apparently the two involved used to tell it with gales of laughter, so I don't think they were too frustrated by the clothes shopping experience. At Mylocalkart.com we are not just merchant ,we loves to connect to our customers, we consider you our friend n if you feel the same then come join us at our social networking sites.Facebook.com/mylocalkartTwitter.com/mylocalkartwww.mylocalkart.com
