MyON Blog Hillsborough Summer Reading Weekly Tasks

The Hillsborough / readonmyon.com reading challenge uses weekly webforms to collect submissions that students enter hoping to win that week's prize.Every Friday during the challenge, you must find out the current "Week" of the Challenge (with a break for July 4th). You might use the Dashboard to find the related Webform.For convenience, in the 2018 Summer Reading Challenge:Week 1 = June 4-8 : webform settings | results downloadWeek 2 = June 11-15 : webform settings | results downloadWeek 3 = June 18-22 : webform settings | results downloadWeek 4 = June 25-29 : webform settings | results downloadWeek 5 = July 9-13 : webform settings | results downloadChange the "Status of this form" from "Open" to "Closed" on the Webform Settings tab for the week ending today (links above), then Save ConfigurationOn the Results tab for this week's webform, click Download, then choose Microsoft Excel format, Select List Options -> Compact. For convenience, also uncheck the box next to "Submission information" under "Included Export Components". Then click Download, save the resulting file, and email them to the Program Manager. (Michelle.Rogers@renaissance.com)To open next week's questions, find next week's webform and change the "Status of this form" from "Closed" to "Open", saving the configuration.Edit the Reading Challenge page - uncomment the next week's Questions link: view the Source of the page body and remove the <!-- and --> code surrounding the HTML (<a>some text here</a>) that provides that link. Optionally add a comment around the now closed Questions link for the week that is ending today to hide it (no longer needed).When the Program Manager has reviewed the weekly submissions, they should email you a PDF with the winners' names. Attach it to the Reading Challenge, uncomment the Winners! text and link it to the new file.
