Nidek Medical: Nidek Technologies Acquires Nidek Medical, an Ophthalmic Device Company

PADOVA, Italy and GAMAROGI, AICHI, Japan-Nidek Technologies S.R.L. headquartered in Padova, Italy, a subsidiary of Nidek Co., Ltd., based in Gamagori, Aichi, Japan, announced that it has acquired 90 percent of the shares of Nidek Medical S.R.L., a sales and service company of ophthalmic devices headquartered in Milan, Italy. As a result of the move, which took effect July 7, 2022, Nidek Medical (NM) became a branch of Nidek Group. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
