Nintendo: Nintendo Switch 2 Camera will cost $50

Nintendo revealed the Switch 2 today, along with its accessories, including the Pro Controller and the newest member of the family, the Switch 2 Camera. The Nintendo Switch 2 Camera will allow users to use a face-cam while talking to friends online with its new Game Chat function. The Game Chat feature allows you to show your gameplay while in a party chat along with your face, almost like you're streaming. The Nintendo Switch 2 Camera will cost just $50 and will be available on June 5, 2025. Pre-orders are not available yet for the item. It's possible it will go up for pre-order on April 9th, along with the console. The camera will plug right on top of the console where there is a second USB-C port. Here is the description from Nintendo of the Camera: Whether in TV mode, tabletop mode, or handheld mode, you can video chat with friends or use other in-game camera features by plugging this camera into the USB-C port on top of the system. Place the Nintendo Switch 2 camera wherever you like and adjust its angle to get the best shot. The lens can capture a wide view, too, so even big rooms or groups of people can get in on the fun! Its compact size makes the camera easy to move and place where you need it to be. The wide-angle lens can be freely adjusted to get everyone in on the action, no matter the room size. Plus, a high-sensitivity image sensor can adjust the brightness automatically to detect faces. In other news, Nintendo GameCube Virtual Console is arriving on Switch 2 when the console launches in June. It will bring several Nintendo classics to the console, such as The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Will you use the Switch 2 Camera when it releases?
