Nissan Motor: Ford, Cadillac, Nissan among over 160,000 vehicles recalled: Check car recalls here

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued multiple recalls last week, including notices for over 100,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The NHTSA website allows you to search for recalls based on your vehicle identification number, or VIN. Here's what you need to know about the vehicle recalls published by NHTSA from March 31 to April 6. Fords Expeditions, Lincoln Navigators recalled for faulty seat belt Ford Motor Company recalled certain 2018-2020 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles over a seat belt for the driver or front passenger that may inadvertently lock. Recalled vehicles may have retractor pretensioners may deploy inadvertently due to oxidation on a part within the pretensioner, according to the recall report . Dealers are to inspect the seat belt retractor date codes and replace the seat belt retractors for free. Owner notification letters are to be sent April 14. Affected vehicles: 105,322 Nissan recalls Kicks for weight mislabeling Nissan recalled certain 2025 Kicks as they may have a certification label with an incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating and Gross Axle Weight Rating. Dealers are to install new labels for free and notification letters are to be sent May 12. Affected vehicles: 37,003 Cadillacs recalled for inaccurate information in owner's manual Genral Motors recalled certain 2025 Cadillac LYRIQs as the owner's manual may have inaccurate information about the vehicle's head restraints. The head restraint description for the China market LYRIQ, which has a unique design, was inadvertently used in manuals for the U.S., according to the recall report. GM is to mail owner's manual inserts with corrected illustrations and descriptions for free. Notification letters are to be sent May 12. Affected vehicles: 10,643 BMW recalls vehicles for potential electrical connection failure BMW recalled certain 2025 vehicles as the electrical connection between the starter-generator and battery in them may come loose. The affected models include: Dealers are to inspect and replace the starter-generator and positive battery cable as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are to be sent May 23. Affected vehicles: 4,397 Lincons, Fords recalled for misaligned engine cup plug Ford Motor Company recalled certain 2024-2025 F-150, Expedition and 2024 Lincoln Navigator vehicles as they may have a misaligned engine cup plug, which can result in a rapid oil leak. The affected vehicles are equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine. Dealers are to inspect the engine cup plug alignment and replace the plug, if necessary, for free. Owner notification letters are to be sent May 26. Affected vehicles: 4,163
