Nkwe: Nkwe gets environmental nod at Garatau

The South African Department of Environmental Affairs has granted ASX- and JSE-listed Nkwe Platinum an environmental authorisation for certain activities at its proposed Garatau mine, in the Limpopo province Nkwe was hoping to construct an underground platinum mine capable of producing some 330 000 oz/y of platinum over an initial 17-year mine life.
