Nkwe: Nkwe Platinum Ltd to update from South Africa

Nkwe Platinum Ltd (ASX:NKP) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX, with its shares placed in pre-open. The company requested the halt pending the finalisation of an announcement in relation to the correspondence from the South African Department of Mineral Resources. Nkwe said that should the mining right over the farm Garantouw 282K be cancelled by the Department, the company will be required to consider the size and scale of its operations. The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Tuesday 18th October 2016, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
