"It started off as a 'joke' but after deeper reflection, realized how this is a name that perfectly describes the movement. Grace is not just the prayer we say, but the action of the Holy Spirit working in our lives, which we have to cooperate with in order to strengthen our family relationships. Grace before the meal means that everyone in the family works together to feed each other."How can we relate God to cooking?"My recent book, Epic Food Fight, chronicles the way that food and faith have been part of the scriptures, our tradition, and the teaching of the Catholic church in regards to the Eucharist - as true food for the body, mind and soul. I guarantee you, if you read that book, you'll realize that every bite we eat is a gift from God!"If you had a chance to prepare a Dish for Jesus what would it be and why?"I would prepare LAMB - since He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. But, I would also ask Him for what He's hungry and all I can do is my best to try and feed Him, especially by feeding the poor and hungry souls in our world today. Is every dish that is prepared to reflect a passage on the bible? for example the "Tomb of Jesus Christ""No, I try and create a menu that people can celebrate.
