Polycom has signed a merger agreement which will lead to the acquisition of VoIP innovator Obihai Technology of San Jose, California. Obihai Technology is a fast-growing developer of software and hardware for VoIP endpoints and its acquisition will allow Polycom to compete more effectively in the global voice market and broaden its portfolio to include complementary technologies
