John O'Neill, president of Omni Aerospace Inc. in Wichita, has pleaded guilty to one count of making a false statement on a federal tax return. U.S. Attorney Tom Beall said in an emailed announcement that the 62-year old aerospace executive admitted to filing a return seeking special depreciation allowance of more than $2.7 million that he was not entitled to.
