NMRViewJ, dataChord Spectrum Analyst and dataChord Spectrum Miner are getting new installers. One of the key features of the new installers is that the Java Runtime Environment will be bundled in with the new installer. You will no longer need to worry about whether you have the correct version of Java installed and I will know exactly what version of Java you're running with.The embedded Java will, at first, only be used with Linux and Windows. Mac OS X installations will continue to use the Java that is provided by Apple. As soon as Oracle fixes one remaining issue (having to do with putting the menubar in the normal system menubar at top of the screen) in their release of Java 7 we'll start shipping Java with the Mac installers as well.
