Open-mesh: Portland WiFi networking company acquired

Portland-based Open Mesh, which has quietly built its business over the last decade, has been acquired. The purchaser, Datto, is a Connecticut-based data backup and disaster recovery business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Open Mesh will keep its Portland headquarters. The company will continue to operate as a separate entity, though now under the Datto umbrella, officials said.
