Alstom: Alstom: strategic partnership with M Reformer

Alstom announces that its HELION Hydrogen Power subsidiary, specialized in high-power fuel cells, has signed a strategic partnership with M Reformer. The aim is to demonstrate the compatibility of HELION fuel cells with hydrogen produced from methanol. HELION will supply a 100 kW fuel cell to be integrated into M Reformer's E-NOMAD system. The demonstration will take place at M Reformer's industrial site at Molins de Rey, near Barcelona. This partnership aims to promote sustainable energy solutions by combining hydrogen fuel cells with methanol reformers. This combination makes it possible to produce high-quality hydrogen, essential for fuel cell operation, while facilitating the storage of energy in liquid form. Together, HELION and M Reformer intend to demonstrate the compatibility of their respective technologies, paving the way for future collaborations for stationary and mobile applications.
