The report details the environmental, social and governance initiatives that support the company's responsible business practices. "Avnet continues to make improvements in our global sustainability efforts by creating sustainable operations and enabling technology solutions that improve lives. We strive to do the right thing, meet regulatory requirements and remain accountable to our key stakeholders," said Stacy Mendez, Director of ESG and Corporate Strategic Planning, Avnet. It is also indexed to Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) industry-specific standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) frameworks. In addition, it has expanded Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) with qualitative climate scenarios and Scope 3 assessment results.
