FCM Travel has announced a partnership with mining services group Perenti, consolidating 23 business entities globally under a single travel management programme. This new consolidation represents a significant partnership for FCM Travel which will now manage global travel requirements for Perenti and its 13 brands. The group's operations span four continents, with a global workforce of 11,000 employees. Flight Centre Corporate Global COO Melissa Elf said the partnership would allow Perenti and FCM Travel to grow together in what is a fast-evolving mining industry. "This win cements our capability in supporting clients with very specific and complex travel needs, and delivering a bespoke and customised solution that puts the customer and their travellers first," Elf said. FCM says it has made significant investment in integration technologies that improve booking automation and process efficiencies, as well as tools to improve the travel experience and duty of care outcomes for travellers. "We've invested significant time in understanding the market's pain points and we've made substantial investments in capitalising on this as an opportunity to retain and grow," Elf added. The partnership between Perenti and FCM Travel includes an extensive change management programme, undertaken by our FCM Consulting division.
