Fortum: Fortum's new climate targets validated by SBTi

Finnish energy company Fortum has presented new climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company commits to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2040. The targets apply to 2040 and are aligned with the level of emission reductions needed to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
