GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A local junk removal company spent the last few weeks collecting unwrapped and new toys, which culminated in donations to underprivileged children in the area. Junk King Green Bay-Appleton teamed up with the local Boys & Girls Club of America for its HAULidays Toy Drive. Over 700 pairs of pajamas donated, nearly $25k raised at Menasha's Community Clothes Closet Boxes were placed at businesses around town from Monday, December 2 until Wednesday, when the Boys and Girls Club picked them up, ready to deliver to the community. "It's the fifth year doing this toy drive franchise-wide," Green Bay Junk King owner Skyler Bauman said. "Just doing a small gesture for the local kids in the community to bring in some Christmas cheer." Bauman added that being a father himself, he knows how much joy it brings kids to open gifts on Christmas Day, and that it's part of the Christmas Spirit to make sure those in need get to do the same.
