Following the success of the inaugural 2024 Govtech 4 Impact World Congress (G4I), the City Council of Madrid and global Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) Kenes Group have announced that G4I 2025 will take place 12-14 May, 2025, at La Nave Madrid. Govtech 4 Impact is a global platform uniting leaders, innovators, and public officials to shape the future of governance through technology. After a groundbreaking first edition in May 2024, which welcomed over 1,047 participants and 165 speakers from 51 countries, G4I 2025 promises to be even larger. The deal to further develop the congress reflects the global demand for a platform addressing critical topics in public sector digital transformation, such as sustainable governance, data-driven decision-making, and citizen engagement through emerging technologies. The City of Madrid has stepped up not only as a host but as a strategic partner in driving this initiative. In working to advance GovTech, Madrid confirms its long-term partnership with Kenes Group by committing to host the G4I Congress for the next three years. The organisers say their aim for G41 2025 is to double its number of international participants and expand its scope to cover the most pressing challenges and opportunities in GovTech. "It is a great pleasure for me to share that the City Council of Madrid and Kenes Group have forged a strategic partnership to co-develop the Govtech 4 Impact World Congress over the next three years." said José Luis Martínez-Almeida Navasqüés, Mayor of Madrid. "The city authorities, our local entrepreneurship and digital technologies sectors, as well as the ever-growing professional innovation community, are delighted with the decision to stage the congress in Madrid and will all do their best to contribute to its success. "We are looking forward to welcoming the Govtech 4 Impact World Congress in 2025 with the firm conviction that this edition will surpass all the expectations and will help establish the congress and Madrid city as flagships in governmental technologies and digital transformation." Ori Lahav, CEO of Kenes Group, emphasised the importance of the Congress and its future: "We thank the Mayor of Madrid and the City Council for their trust in Kenes Group as a strategic partner. We are honoured to continue this journey together. G4I 2025 will build on the strong foundation of its inaugural edition to create an even greater platform for collaboration, innovation, and impact. By bringing together the brightest minds in GovTech, we aim to help governments worldwide address challenges, embrace opportunities, and drive meaningful transformation." G4I 2025 will feature an expanded programme, new thematic tracks, and even more opportunities for networking and collaboration among global leaders, innovators, and policymakers.
