Kinnevik-backed banking challenger Lunar is launching a collaboration with business system company Fortnox aimed at facilitating and speeding up the process of starting a business. This is stated in a press release. In concrete terms, it is about enabling the establishment of companies digitally, instead of physically at banks, many of which tend to have long processing times. "With a digital application process, we make it easier to get started quickly with opening a company account, without getting stuck in long and complicated processes. Together, we are creating a modern, simple and flexible solution for starting and running a business," says Mikaela Berglund, Operation Manager and CEO of Fortnox Starta Företag AB. For Lunar, the partnership means gaining access to Fortnox customers and reaching out to more start-ups. "The collaboration with a well-established player like Fortnox reflects our focus on creating modern and digital solutions for entrepreneurs, and is another strategic step on our journey to become the best everyday bank for small businesses and individuals," says Mats Persson Bergius, Commercial Manager at Lunar.
Lunar is a Denmark-based neobank platform that offers solutions such as savings accounts, expense management, and financial advisory for individuals and businesses.
