Microsoft: HCLTech partners with Microsoft's Nuance biz

As part of an extended partnership agreement HCLTech will become the exclusive professional services partner for Microsoft's Nuance enterprise professional services contracts.Microsoft purchased Nuance in March 2022 for its conversational AI and expertise across industries including healthcare, financial services, retail and telecommunications.As part of the expanded partnership, Nuance's enterprise professional services business, including its 550 service employees and existing customer contracts, will be transferred to HCLTech.The team has deep conversational AI expertise and will continue to service Microsoft customers globally.ARN understands this global agreement will extend to HCLTech in Australia and New Zealand. However, it was unable to provide specific details about the local team numbers at this time.The software service provider will also make Microsoft Dynamics 365 contact centre as its preferred solution and take a leading role in migrating existing Nuance enterprise professional services customers to the platform as a preferred partner.According to HCLTech, its AI-led digital transformation services, including consulting, implementation, upgrades and support services, will help grow its presence in the contact centre as a service (CCaaS) market."HCLTech is making a bold move to lead AI-driven innovation in the rapidly growing CCaaS market," said Anil Ganjoo, chief growth officer Americas, TMT at HCLTech."By combining our expertise in digital transformation with Microsoft's GenAI, automation and Copilot capabilities, we are uniquely positioned to help customers unlock the full potential of AI and cloud-native services."
