Saab: The submarine HMS Halland launched after mid-term modification with new technology from Saab

The defense company Saab announces that yesterday, February 13, the submarine HMS Halland was launched after an extensive mid-term modification at the company's shipyard in Karlskrona. This is stated in a press release. HMS Halland is the third and final Gotland-class submarine to undergo the upgrade, which includes new technologies and systems of the same type that will be used in future Blekinge-class submarines. During the modification, more than twenty of the key systems in HMS Halland have been replaced, such as sensors and command systems.
