At today's Capital Markets Day, Scandic Hotels will provide an update on the business plan, which forms the basis for the medium-term goals for 2025-2027 and the strategy for 2030. The new strategy for 2030 states that Scandic wants to add 7,000 new rooms in the Nordic region and 3,000 new rooms in Germany. The company also wants to take a leading position in the fast-growing, profitable economy segment through Scandic Go, which is believed to account for about 50 percent of the newly signed rooms. The company also wants to broaden its presence in the Nordic region with low risk and high profitability through 30-40 new franchise hotels, drive revenue and loyalty through more relevant and personalized guest experiences and improve operational efficiency through investments in new ways of working. "In the coming years, our focus is on growth and continuous improvement to strengthen profitability. Through selective portfolio expansion, leveraging our commercial and operational strengths and a strategic capital allocation framework, our ambition is to create an attractive journey for our guests, employees and shareholders," writes CEO Jens Mathiesen.
