Stop & Shop: Stop & Shop, Clynk partner up to make bottle returns easier

CONNECTICUT (WTNH) - Stop & Shop and bottle recycling company Clynk are revealing details of their new partnership and recycling program. Bottle redemption payout increases in Connecticut When you buy a beverage, you pay a small "deposit" for the container. With the new partnership, you can now put the containers into one bag - no matter where that container was purchased. Then, you drop the bag off at the Clynk sustainability station in the Stop & Shop parking lot. The companies said at an event on Tuesday in Bristol that they hope this makes the process of recycling more convenient.
