UCLA: UltraTech collaborates with UCLA to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from cement production

UltraTech Cement has partnered with the Institute for Carbon Management to incorporate Zero Carbon Lime technology, developed by UCLA. This breakthrough can reduce 98% of CO2 emissions from limestone decomposition in cement production. A demonstration plant will be established at one of UltraTech's integrated cement units, with a goal of achieving carbon neutral concrete by 2050.
