Yara, the first in Brazil to produce ammonia from renewable biomethane, has delivered its first lower-carbon product. Made from sugarcane waste, biomethane reduces emissions by up to 75 per cent. Yara aims for carbon neutrality by 2050, with a focus on decarbonising food and industrial value chains. Its Cubatão complex leads Brazil's energy transition using biomethane.
