The country's largest art Fair, Art Toronto at the Toronto Convention Centre was recently held in Toronto. This stunning collection of Artist's works is renowned worldwide and is celebrating its 14th year.There is so much to see but I will touch on the highlights of this year's show. The MOCCA Benefit edition this year is by artist Sarah Anne Johnson. Twenty Five unique 12" x 18"prints are available. A collage of self-portraits submitted by the many artists showing at this year's fair. This year's winner was Colleen Heslin with her submission 'Almost young and wild and free' ink, dye and acrylic on cotton. Such intricate detail of fabrics one would think it was a photo. In was an interval lenticular photo titled 'White Noise' stunning photo process drawing you in with its vibrant image and movement.'White Noise' by Barbara Cole - Note the change in visual as you move around picture due to the lenticular process.Also visually exciting was oil on canvas painting 'Man With Vesalius Skeleton D' by Robert Fry shown by the Beers/Lambert Contemporary Gallery. I love the almost phantom like quality this picture depicts. It reads completely different when viewing in person.The Bruno Dahl Gallery of Denmark installments of Stefan MAS Perssons works were another favorite. Modern acrylic on MDF pieces inspired by architecture, I particularly liked his piece Metropolitan.'Metropolitan' - Stefan MAS PerssonsFeheley Fine Arts had great representation of Inuit artists. I enjoyed pieces by Tim Pitsiulak - 'Ivory Aqvik' and Ohotag Mikkigak - 'Owl'. Ohotag Mikkigak - 'Owl'From Hazelton Fine Art Galleries the new series of oil on canvas paintings by Anna Razumovskaya are stunning pieces giving life to the gorgeous women painted in each image. I particularly liked her pieces 'Venetian Graces & 'Lilac Dreams II'.Anna Razumovskaya -'Venetian Graces''Lilac Dreams II'Messum's fine Art installations from Jeffery Key - 'Opening Set' and Michael Forster, Canada's Pioneer surrealist, added a touch of visual vintage quality of colour and image.'Opening Set' - Jeffery KeyNine Gallery from Korea featured Korean artist Park Tae Hoo images of Korean paper and ink. Animated images of small birds mixed with natural images in vibrant colour.I will share a few more delightful pieces that I photographed but these are only a few of the thousands of visual delights found at this year's fair. It is absolutely a delight to the senses to visit the show and be awed at how each artist captures the inspired work.
