Panasonic: EIZO Joins Panasonic KAIROS Alliance Partners with World's First Validated Reference Monitor, Enhancing Live Broadcast and Video Production Workflows

Hakusan, Japan - EIZO Corporation (TSE: 6737) today announced its collaboration with Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co., Ltd. ("Panasonic") by joining the KAIROS Alliance Partner program, a global partnership between Panasonic and IT and video-related equipment manufacturers and suppliers. Through this partnership, EIZO's ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1 HDR ( High Dynamic Range ) reference monitor has been validated for compatibility with KAIROS via the ST 2110 standard-supported video workflow. This makes the CG1 the first reference monitor to be verified with the KAIROS system, offering the video production industry enhanced workflow and a high-quality production environment. Panasonic's KAIROS is an advanced live video production platform for broadcast, video production, and live streaming. It offers flexible system configuration and operation, enabling high-quality content creation, including 4K HDR. EIZO's ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1 is a 30.5-inch, DCI-4K (4096 x 2160) HDR reference monitor for the professional post production and color grading workflow. It is the first EIZO monitor to support the SMPTE ST 2110 Professional Media Over Managed IP Networks suite of standards. With this collaboration, KAIROS and the CG1 enable users to leverage the ST 2110 ecosystem for high-quality uncompressed video transmission. This includes 12-bit 4:4:4 video signal output at 4K-DCI resolution, ensuring preserved color and brightness. The CG1 can natively receive ST 2110 output from KAIROS without a converter or gateway, allowing users to streamline their hardware configuration and verify ST 2110 in advance. Additionally, CG1 and KAIROS are compatible with NMOS* and ST 2022-7, allowing users to build network systems with control and redundancy through NMOS. Through the KAIROS Alliance Partner program, EIZO and Panasonic unite to build a high-quality, efficient integrated production environment using ST 2110, empowering creatives worldwide to produce dynamic, fresh content every day. The ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1 will be showcased at EIZO's booth (SL5829) and Panasonic's booth (N1311) at the NAB Show 2025, held in Las Vegas, USA from April 6 to 10, 2025 .
