Pappas: Pappas Restaurants closes new concept after less than 2 years

Houston-based Pappas Restaurants Inc. closed a casual steakhouse concept in east Houston. Pappas Meat Co., at 12010 Interstate 10 East, shut down Sept. 5, according to CultureMap. Employees were offered their same positions at other Pappas restaurants in the Houston area. The restaurant group hopes to open the concept elsewhere in the future.
