Los Angeles-based ENVOY Network, a new startup focused on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), says it has raised $2.5M in a funding round. The funding came from 3comma, Prometheus Labs, Solidity Ventures, Spark Digital Capital, Paribus, Kyros Ventures, Stakely.vc and Maven Capital. According to the company, it is launching a "curated digital billboard" which displays NFTs in Times Square, New York. The company says its NFTs will grant rights to an art piece and publishing rights for artwork or brands to appear on its board in Times Square all year round. ENVOY Network said its advisors include Austin Kramer (former Head of Dance, Spotify), Miranda Huybers (Nvidia, Activision, Paul Doherty (AIA President and CEO, The Digit Group, Inc.), Marlon Flohr (Bassjackers) and Perry van de Mosselaar (CEO Smash the House).
