The 9th edition of OGWA (Oil & Gas West Asia Exhibition & Conference) started in Muscat on 31st March and will last until 2nd April 2014.The event was opened by H.E. Dr. Ali bin Massoud Al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry. H.E. Salim Al Aufi, Under-Secretary of Oil and Gas who also attended and delivered the keynote speech of the Opening Ceremony.The Authorities then toured the Exhibition and also stopped by the Partex Stand, where they were welcomed by José Silva Pereira and Mário Pratt.Partex is a sponsor at the Conference and similarly to previous editions, is well represented in the organisation of the event: José Silva Pereira, Middle East Representative, is a member of the Executive Committee. José Lozano, Technical Manager, is a member of the Technical Committee of the Conference and Co-Chairman of Technical Session 10 (Well Design and Reservoir Characterization), Maria Teresa Ribeiro, E&P Manager, is a panelist in Session 3 (Demand on Resources and Capabilities).
