Perspectives Blog Give Back This Holiday Season

The holiday season is a time for family, togetherness, cookies, well-wishes, and giving. There's something magical about spreading kindness and joy to others, especially to those who are in need and struggling to find joy during what can be a stressful time. Here at Perspectives, we are dedicated to doing just that, by providing a range of holiday-giving programs that help our families in need during this special time of year. One of our most popular programs is Adopt-A-Family, where generous participants from Cargill shop for a Perspectives family. Participants from Cargill get to know the family they're shopping for by receiving their wish list and then going out and purchasing those gifts for the family members. It's heartwarming to see the joy on the faces of our community families who may not have had much to look forward to during the holiday season. The Perspectives Holiday Store is a program designed to empower kids by allowing them to pick out a gift for their parents or siblings. Nothing is more exciting for a child than giving back to the people they love. The Holiday Store is set up to resemble a department store, complete with wrapping stations, holiday decorations, and cheerful helpers who assist the kids in picking out the perfect gift. The Giving Tree is yet another program Perspectives offers. The Giving Tree allows our mothers to pick out a gift for each of their kids, ensuring they have a special surprise to open on Christmas morning. The joy and relief to parents is invaluable and is often the only way they can provide gifts for their children during the holiday season. It's important that we all remember that the holiday season is about much more than just gift-giving. It is programs like these that spread kindness and joy to those who may be struggling during this time of year.
